Moscow schoolchildren may not have to go anywhere in the summer, because in the capital itself there are a lot of interesting and useful ways to spend the holidays. “Moscow Shift” is a program to provide children aged 7 to 14 years with high-quality, full-fledged summer recreation.
Even if you don’t have the money or time to take your children to the sea, they will be able to truly improve their health and recharge themselves with a lot of vivid impressions. 246 Moscow institutions opened their doors to schoolchildren during the summer holidays. These are not only schools, but also sports, cultural and educational institutions.
Every Moscow schoolchild will be able to do his favorite pastime, meet new friends, learn new knowledge and gain skills in various fields.
In total, the following people are involved in the Moscow Shift project:
It is planned to organize a truly active, useful and developing vacation. Features of the “Moscow Shift” project in 2019
This project appealed to all Muscovites. Indeed, not all adults have the opportunity to go on a summer vacation with their children. Someone is working and vacation is not coming soon. Some people don’t have the funds for expensive trips. And that’s why now the “Moscow Shift” project has become in such high demand.
Important! Since 2019, “Moscow Shift” has become permanent. All sites will be open 5 days a week from 9:00 to 19:00.
The work program for each site is developed independently by the managers of these sites. The time spent in such a camp will be scheduled literally minute by minute. Schoolchildren will not be allowed to get bored or engage in indecent activities. Now schoolchildren will be under the constant supervision of teachers.
In this case, the personal preferences of the children will be taken into account. They will be offered programs that will interest each of them. Here will be held:
- career guidance lessons, where children can get acquainted with the features of their future profession and try their hand at each of them;
- creative master classes where everyone can show their talents and inclinations;
- sports competitions, relay races, mini-Olympiads, races and bike rides;
- trips to the capital’s museums, the zoo, Kuklachev’s cat theater, and other capital theaters;
- visiting the planetarium, Moskvarium, Masterslavl, Kidburg and other cultural institutions of the capital.
How to register a child for the Moscow Shift

- Attach the following documents to the application:
- passport of the parent or legal representative of the child;

Moscow shift 2019
“Moscow Shift”, a free summer vacation program for schoolchildren, will now operate on a permanent basis. This decision was made at a meeting of the Presidium of the Moscow Government, which was chaired by Sergei Sobyanin in May. The official opening of the Moscow Shift will take place on June 3.

They are provided with three free meals a day - breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Schoolchildren will be offered several hot dishes, vegetables, fruits and dairy products to choose from.
The menu will be compiled taking into account the increased physical activity of children according to the recommendations of pediatricians. Well, all food, as usual, will undergo many laboratory tests. An innovation this season is that each shift is dedicated to a specific topic. For example, the “Forward to Victory!” program is planned for June.
In July - the “Native Spaces” program dedicated to the Year of Children’s Tourism. Children will take part in sports, recreational, tourism and local history events, sports competitions, environmental events, and excursions.

Registration for children to participate in the Moscow Shift program has started
On May 24, registration opens for the first shift of the “Moscow Shift” active children’s recreation program, which will operate in the city for three summer months. The first shift starts on June 3.
The “Moscow Shift” program is a unique format for children’s recreation in the city, especially relevant for families who, for some reason, cannot send their child to a country camp or “to grandma’s in the village.”
This is not the first summer (and the program started in 2016), on the basis of educational and sports schools, as well as social institutions, a whole network of city playgrounds has been organized, which provide everything that is necessary for a good rest for Moscow schoolchildren: classes and games, three hot meals a day, medical care, security and safety systems, and most importantly, a huge cultural and leisure program that allows children to spend time interestingly and usefully. The children go on excursions, visit museums, theaters and the main attractions of Moscow; sports competitions, games, sports competitions, environmental events, quests, quizzes, master classes, meetings with interesting people and much more are organized for them.
This year, children's recreation will take place at 246 sites: these are 87 social service organizations, 132 educational and 27 physical education and sports organizations.
All sites within the project will be open five days a week, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It is planned that as part of the “Moscow Shift” this summer, about 25 thousand Moscow children aged 7 to 14 years, including children with disabilities, will have a rest.
1,200 cultural and leisure events are planned .
Children will be able to visit 26 museums, 15 animation centers and five theaters , including the Museum of Cosmonautics, the State Historical Museum, the Kremlin in Izmailovo, Zaryadye Park, the Geological Museum named after V.I.
Vernadsky, Moskvarium, the Firebird Puppet Theater, the State Darwin Museum, the Kuskovo estate, the Moscow Planetarium, the Kuklachev Cat Theater and many others.
In addition, throughout the summer, the “Universal Safety Code” program will be implemented, which helps children develop safe behavior skills in extreme situations.
The second summer shift will start working on July 1 , the third - on August 1 . Each shift will last at least 21 calendar days .
In order to enroll a child in the Moscow Shift program, his parent or legal representative must contact the selected organization with an application. The following documents must be attached to the application:
- an identification document of the parent or other legal representative of the child, and a document confirming the powers of the other legal representative;
- child's birth certificate or other document confirming the fact of birth and registration of the child;

Second shift returns to schools
The education sector remains one of the most problematic in the Odintsovo district. Another evidence of this is the introduction of a second shift against the backdrop of regular statements by local and regional officials about “breakthroughs” in school construction.
The election campaign is over, the second shift returns to schools
Parents of 2nd grade students at Odintsovo Gymnasium No. 11 (Luba Novoselova Boulevard, 7) were surprised to learn that in the new school year their children will study in the second shift. And also that there will be no morning extension. They turned to Dobrodel for clarification.
We are working. An 8-year-old child will not be able to prepare his homework and go to school without additional help. Please help me and return the first shift!
There are not enough classrooms in schools
As follows from the response from the administration of the Odintsovo city district, this school year there will be 59 , and there will not be enough classrooms to seat all primary school students:
At MBOU Odintsovo Gymnasium No. 11, from September 1, 2019, it is planned to open 6 first classes, with a total of 166 people (based on the availability of applications from the assigned territory). Compared to last year, the number of first-graders in the school district has increased.
From September 1, 2018, 4 first classes were opened - 107 people . The total number of students in primary school was 426 people.
In the new 2019-2020 academic year, the planned number of students in grades 1-4 is 500 people; the number of classes 1-4 is 17. The gymnasium has 11 classrooms for primary school students, so it is not possible to seat all students in the first shift .
Officials report that an administrative decision has been made - parallel classes for grades 2 and 3 will be held in the second shift. And due to the increase in the total number of classes in the gymnasium, “there is no possibility of opening an extended day group in the first shift .
City schools are overloaded with children from new buildings
Let us remind you that before the 2019-2020 school year, the administration of the Odintsovo district once again changed the procedure for assigning territories to educational institutions. The houses are assigned not to one school, but to several at once.
Thus, Gymnasium No. 11 (together with Gymnasium No. 7 and Secondary School No. 9) is assigned to houses from 15 streets of Odintsovo, including the streets of the Hussarskaya Ballada residential complex. The Hussar Ballad, which has a population of thousands, still does not have its own school - the authorities have been promising to build one for years.
After residents contacted Vladimir PUTIN , this issue was raised on a direct line with the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei VOROBYOV: Minister of Construction Complex Ruslan TAGIEV said that the school for 1,200 places will accept its first students in 2022.
The governor does not solve the problem: budget billions are spent on commercial projects
The lack of places in Odintsovo schools is hardly surprising. The reason is obvious - the population is increasing every year, there are no new schools, and the old ones are working with multiple overload. Overcrowded municipal educational institutions in the city pose a danger to the life and health of children. The actual load exceeds the standard load by 5 times .
The problem with old schools could be solved by building extensions. According to the reconstruction projects for microdistricts No. 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8, all existing old school buildings were to be expanded with extensions. For more than 15 years, densification has been underway under the guise of relocating obsolete housing, but not a single school has been expanded!
Of course, extensions are only a help in solving the problem. The main way is to build new schools. But in Odintsovo over the past ten years, if new schools have appeared, it has only been as part of new microdistricts (with the money of shareholders). But even there, all standards are exceeded many times over; there are not enough places even for the children of new residents.
No money left? Lie!
To all questions about the construction of schools in old microdistricts, the Moscow region authorities answer that there is no money. But at the same time, the governor and his subordinates regularly allocate budget money to schools and kindergartens in commercial development projects.
Thus, deputies and officials allocated 2.5 billion rubles. taxes for the construction and equipping of a commercial gymnasium named after Primakov in Razdory on the territory of an elite cottage community, and immediately after they gave more money for its reconstruction. This money would be enough for four large city schools.
To fulfill the obligations of FSK "Leader" for the school in the residential complex "UP! Skolkovsky Quarter" 850 million rubles were spent from the budgets. 70 billion rubles into the collapsed pyramid of Urban Group , planning, among other things, to build a school and kindergarten in the Laikovo residential complex with budget money.

Events dedicated to Children's Day, Russia Day, and Day of Remembrance and Sorrow (June 22, the beginning of the Great Patriotic War) will be held for children. The July program will be dedicated to the theme “Native Spaces”.
Children will be able to take part in sports, recreational, tourism and local history events dedicated to the Year of Children's Tourism.
There is also a sub-program “Decade of Childhood”, which includes the celebration of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, sports competitions, environmental events, hikes and excursions around Moscow.
The August session is dedicated to the theme “The World of Art”.
Participants will learn to create videos, attend theater festivals, photo competitions, meetings with actors, KVN games, as well as events dedicated to the Year of the Theater.

"Moscow Shift" presents an updated program in children's city camps
The annual Moscow Shift program is ready to start in the capital. Tens of thousands of Muscovites will be able to enroll their children in day camps at the end of this week. This year, capital schoolchildren will enjoy a rich entertainment, educational and sports program. Moreover, staying in the camp is absolutely free.
“We traditionally organize dozens of children’s camps on the basis of general education and children’s sports schools, institutions of the Department of Labor and Social Protection, where children can actively relax, chat with friends, attend cultural and sporting events in the city,” said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. – You will be able to send your child to interesting classes taught by experienced teachers. For example, for sports, career guidance lessons and various creative master classes.”
Let us remind you that the capital’s project “Moscow Shift” is already well known to city residents. Children's day camps in the capital also operated last season.
What’s interesting is that the format of the summer city camp itself has been familiar to many Russians since Soviet times. However, “Moscow Shift” is not just a camp where a child, under the supervision of adults, will be engaged in “doing nothing.”
A modern city camp is a rich program where everyone can choose activities to their liking.
Specifically
- “Moscow shift” in numbers
- 247 institutions will become sites for children's city camps, including:
- * secondary schools;
- * 28 sports schools;
- * 87 social institutions.
- The work of children's camps will be ensured by:
- 4 thousand teachers;
- 400 medical workers.
- The partners of the Moscow Shift project are:
- * 26 museums;
- * 7 theaters;
- * 10 animation centers;
- * 10 sports grounds.
This year, a number of changes were made to the project, thanks to which the Moscow Shift program has become even more interesting for children and even more convenient for parents. “The problem is divided into two parts. It’s one thing to have no one to leave the child with.
Another – if you have someone to leave with, then what to do with him? In this regard, we launched the “Moscow Shift” program, which this year already has the full status of “program of the mayor of Moscow,” says Alexander Kibovsky, head of the capital’s Department of Culture.
Vacations for every taste
So, any schoolchild from 7 to 14 years old can become a participant in the “Moscow Shift”. Parents just need to submit an application (see help).
In total, 247 day care centers will be organized in the city: some of the camps will be located on the basis of general education, some - on the basis of sports schools. “The shift includes three meals a day; In addition, 4 thousand students will be trained.
teachers, 400 medical workers will monitor their (children’s – Ed.) condition,” said Alexander Kibovsky.
Applications for the first shift begin at the end of this week, May 24.
The first shift will last from June 1 to 29, the second from July 2 to 30, and the third from August 1 to 28.
When submitting an application, you need to decide on the direction of the shift, be it sports or educational. Sports shifts (in June and July) will be held on the basis of sports schools. The educational session will open in June and will be organized on the basis of regular schools.
Those for whom it is important not only to have fun, but also to spend the summer profitably will be able to sign up for educational sessions. Educational shift programs are new this season.
In an easy and relaxed atmosphere, schoolchildren will be able to improve their knowledge in various subjects. And of course, broaden your horizons and take part in thematic professional master classes.
Schools equipped with technical laboratories joined the Moscow Shift project. In total, 132 camps will operate under educational programs - this is in almost every district of the city.
“In fact, these are all forms that allow an informal approach to education. This is not a lesson, not calls - these are studios, clubs, some events on the street,” said Pavel Karpov, deputy head of the city Department of Education.
Those guys who want active recreation and a health program can sign up for a sports session.
For example, last season, participants in physical education and health sessions met famous athletes, went to major sports competitions, and even passed the GTO standards in test mode. This year's program promises to be even more eventful and interesting.
Any child can become a participant in the sports session - for this it is not at all necessary to be a student at a specialized sports school.
“Sports institutions and the Moscow Shift are aimed not only at students of sports schools, but in general at any Moscow children aged 7 to 14 years,” confirms the head of the Department of Sports and Tourism Nikolai Gulyaev. “This is an important note, because some parents do not know that they have such an opportunity to join physical education and sports.”
Walked and fed
An important organizational innovation, which, obviously, will be especially pleasant and convenient for parents, was the fact that the work of the camps this season was decided to be extended by an entire hour. Now you won’t have to run headlong from work in order to have time to pick up your son from the camp.
All Moscow Shift centers will be open from 9.00 to 19.00.
Three meals a day will also be provided at each camp. So parents don’t have to worry not only about the content, but also about the purely organizational part of their child’s vacation.
Each institution on the basis of which a children's camp will be organized will develop its own children's leisure program. More information about each of the programs will be available in the very near future on the website of the Moscow Mayor (mos.ru).
However, it is already clear today that a lot of interesting things await the guys.
Thus, the “Moscow Shift” programs include visits to the Moscow Zoo, Planetarium, Historical and Darwin Museums, Moskvarium, Moscow Kremlin Museums, Kuklachev’s Cat Theater, Grandfather Durov’s Corner Theater and many other interesting and iconic places.
All Moscow Shift events will be free.

“Moscow Shift” in the South-Eastern Administrative District: How schoolchildren can have a fun and interesting summer in the capital
This summer will be a turning point for the Moscow Shift project: this project will become permanent.
Now, metropolitan schoolchildren from families in preferential categories and families in difficult life situations will be able to choose any summer shift for a full-fledged and interesting vacation.
This is especially important for those families who, for some reason, cannot send their children on vacation to country camps or to the country.
What's in the holiday program
The Moscow Shift project started in the capital in 2016 and immediately gained popularity among Muscovites. After all, it allows children not only to have a great rest, but also to learn a lot of new things.
A large educational and entertainment program is being prepared for the children, including cultural and sports events, visits to museums, theaters, concert venues and the main attractions of the capital, master classes, excursions, meetings with interesting people, and much more.
For children's summer holidays, playgrounds are prepared at general education and sports schools, as well as social service organizations.
In the South-Eastern Administrative District, such social protection organizations are already preparing for the “Moscow Shift”, such as the centers for social assistance to families and children “Pechatniki”, “Harmony”, “Istoki”, the Ryazan branch of the Center for Social Protection and Disasters “Istoki”, territorial social service centers "Maryino" and "Zhulebino", branch "Vykhino" of the shopping center "Zhulebino". It is planned that 645 children will rest in these institutions. Educational and sports institutions will also open for children.
“This is not the first time we have taken part in the Moscow Shift project,” says Olga Vlasova, director of the Istoki center for social assistance to families and children. — This program primarily helps low-income families who cannot send their child to a country camp near the sea. However, those parents who are busy at work all day are also very happy with the project.
“Moscow Shift” organizes recreation in different directions every month, and the entire life of the city camp is built in accordance with this direction - sports, cultural, creative.
And parents don’t have to worry, since the children are under the supervision of specialists, fed and constantly busy: excursions, games, competitions, and quizzes are organized for them.
Therefore, there are a lot of people who want to relax.
Help for the family
City children's recreation will be held on the basis of 87 social service organizations, including seven organizations in the South-Eastern Administrative District. All of them will work five days a week, on weekdays from 09.00 to 19.00.
“This is a huge relief for Moscow families,” says ten-year-old Natasha’s grandmother Olga Semyonovna Noskova. — I’m a working grandmother, so I can’t look after my granddaughter all summer: this is only possible when I’m on vacation.
And during the rest of the summer, what can one do if parents are at work from morning to night? So “Moscow Shift” is just a salvation.
Besides, it's so interesting there! Natasha is very pleased and this summer again dreams of getting into the “Moscow Shift”.
It is planned that as part of the “Moscow Shift” this summer, about 25 thousand Moscow children aged from seven to 14 years, including children with disabilities, will have a rest. The project will operate in three shifts: the first will begin on June 3, the second on July 1, and the third on August 1. The duration of each shift is at least 21 calendar days.
How to sign up
- An application for enrollment of a child in the “Moscow shift” is submitted by a parent or other legal representative of the child in person to the government organization of his choice, no later than three working days before the start date of the shift. The application must be accompanied by:
- - an identification document of the parent or other legal representative of the child, and a document confirming the powers of the other legal representative;
- — a child’s birth certificate or other document confirming the fact of his birth and registration;
- — medical certificate form 079/у;
- — certificate of no contact with infectious patients.
If an application to enroll a child in a shift is submitted to the organization in which the child studies or attends during the school year, no additional documents are required. The decision on enrollment or refusal of enrollment is made no later than the next working day after the day on which the application was submitted.
To ensure the safety of children in the camps, all organizations are equipped with fire safety systems, video surveillance, and alarm systems. Children's stay in city camps, three meals a day, medical care, sports and cultural and leisure programs are all free.
