Who is issued the SNILS certificate?

Replacing the SNILS certificate

If your basic personal data has changed (last name, first name, patronymic, etc.), then within two weeks you need to contact the Pension Fund (PFR) branch with an application for a new SNILS (in person or through an employer) to replace the SNILS certificate .

Newborns

It is mandatory for a child to register for SNILS, even if he was just recently born. The document will be required when receiving medical services, benefits, benefits.

SNILS is drawn up as follows:

1. The civil registry office receives the child’s birth certificate and sends the document to the Pension Fund.
2. The pension fund receives the document and issues SNILS within 5 days.
